# Add Earnest to Claude

Earnest introduces you to people you'd get along with. It works inside Claude, as a custom connector: a remote MCP server at https://people-api.leadbay.app/mcp.

## 1. Add to Claude

Open https://claude.ai/customize/connectors?modal=add-custom-connector&connectorName=Earnest&connectorUrl=https%3A%2F%2Fpeople-api.leadbay.app%2Fmcp

Claude opens its "Add custom connector" dialog with the name Earnest and the address filled in. Click **Add**, then **Connect**.

If Claude doesn't open: go to Claude's connectors (https://claude.ai/customize/connectors), choose **Add custom connector**, name it Earnest and paste this address:

    https://people-api.leadbay.app/mcp

- Claude through work (Team or Enterprise plan): an admin adds it, then you click **Connect**.
- The free plan allows one custom connector.
- Once added, Earnest works in the Claude phone app too.

## 2. Sign in with X

Earnest's page opens after **Connect**. Click **Continue with X**. Earnest reads your X profile, posts, email and who you follow. It never posts. An X account is needed for now.

## 3. Ask Claude

Paste this in a new Claude chat (https://claude.ai/new):

    Who should I meet this week?

The first time, Claude drafts your profile with you.
